Nice looking hotel and helpful front desk. Complimentary breakfast would be in line with even less expensive hotels.
Took over 60 pictures. Our room was dirty. The pool area was filthy, the pump wasn't working, the water wasn't circulating. I was told housekeeping had gone for the day and they could shut the pool down for the night. Didn't happen. The hot tub was green. The pool had stuff floating in it. Can't imagine giving this place half a star. We were allowed to leave with no charges after numerous complaints.

After experiencing a nightmare at our first hotel, we called to book a room around 11:30 at night, and even checking in around midnight, we were welcomed by big smiles and very friendly staff. The reservation was made very last minute, but the hotel was more than welcoming. After walking into our room, we were immediately met with a clean smell. As most people know, a clean smell is a big deal. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed made the stay worthwhile. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on. Staff came first thing every morning with clean towels and took out the garbages, and the staff at the front desk remembered us on a personal level, always greeting us with smiles. This was my first time ever in Virginia, and the folks at this hotel made it a fantastic first trip, and I plan to return just for another stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend.
Was looking for a venue for our HOA Christmas party and was delighted with the property. The event room could be easily transformed into our needs. We wanted a sit down dinner with room for a dance floor, which was easily accommodated. Staff were very knowledgeable.
